Responsibilities

Technical authority and lead specialist responsible for ensuring effective, economical, and advanced technical management of customer computing requirements.

Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and conducting studies, analyses and evaluations of plans, programs, projects, networks, policies, and procedures.

Organizational focal point for synchronizing efforts to achieve strategic goals and increasing operational effectiveness through a unified project management approach.

Establishes criteria and make recommendations to address new support requirements.

Plans work to be accomplished and prepare schedules for completion of work for review by senior staff.

This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

This position requires a Top Secret/Critical-Sensitive (CS) security clearance.

This is a drug test position requiring pre-employment and random drug testing.

This position is subject to Cyber Workforce requirements as defined by the DoD 8140 policy series for the position's required CYBER Work Role(s).

Must be able to obtain and maintain access to classified information and eligibility to have the appropriate security clearance as a condition of employment. May be subject to initial and random drug testing for this position, if applicable.

You must reside within 50 miles of any of the locations listed on the announcement for this position.

To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.

Providing guidance to team members on IT technical matters and collaborating with cross-functional teams while leading IT technical projects in order to meet customer requirements by analyzing and developing innovative information system techniques.

Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
