Responsibilities
Build and execute the demand generation strategy for Valant to drive qualified leads and pipeline growth
Collaborate with cross-functional marketing team and external resources to create and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, digital marketing, content marketing, events, webinars, and more
Develop and oversee the execution of an effective content strategy for every stage in the buyer journey, leveraging your deep understanding of the industry along with Valant’s target audience, their pain points, and the solutions they seek
Launch and optimize data-informed email drip campaigns, including developing the content, setup, testing, scheduling, tracking, and measuring campaigns to drive short-term and long-term results
Analyze and report on campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven optimizations
Manage the demand generation budget and allocate resources to effectively maximize ROI
Serve as the demand generation subject matter expert, continually deepening functional expertise and staying informed of trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure we are using the best tools and tactics to improve results and drive innovation
Align with marketing, sales, and product leadership to ensure demand generation campaigns reflect current business priorities, brand positioning, messaging strategies, and goals
Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment on lead quality and follow-up processes

Required
5+ years experience in a senior marketing demand generation role, preferably in B2B SaaS industry
Proven success increasing top-of-funnel volume and pipeline conversion rates through deployment of various marketing channels
Strong leadership skills with experience managing direct and indirect resources
In-depth understanding of SaaS go-to-market motions
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable marketing plans
Proficiency in digital marketing, demand generation, and marketing automation platforms
Excellent grasp of best practices for email marketing and design (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, subject line testing, ALT tags, image optimization, sender score, deliverability, data segmentation, dynamic content, etc.)
Solid quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make recommendations and drive decisions
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with strong attention to detail and copy proofing
Excellent project management skills to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders
Ability to work independently; Takes initiative to get things done; Enjoys having direct accountability for results
Learns quickly when facing new problems, enjoys challenges and finding solutions, seizes opportunity
Experience effectively leveraging marketing automation platform (preferably Marketo) for the creation and sending of batch email and nurture paths, email delivery forms, landing pages, database segmentation, and management
