Responsibilities
Conduct strategy meetings with clients at the start of representation.
Advise clients on legal options for litigation and settlement.
Review and respond to correspondence from clients and opposing counsel.
Prepare trial briefs and oversee case strategy for complex cases, including long cause hearings.
Provide strategy and support on complex family law cases, including highly contested custody matters and complex financial issues.
Engage in full-service family law services, including divorce, parentage, child support, spousal support, domestic violence restraining orders, and division of assets.
Conduct discovery, provide high-level legal research, draft and review complex pleadings and motions, and conduct pretrial hearings, motion hearings, evidentiary hearings, and family law trials.

Required
Licensed by the California State Bar.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience practicing family law in California.
Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) preferred.
