Responsibilities

Assist with the financial reporting process - both external and internal.

Assist with authoring SEC filings including 10-Q and 10-K, including preparing MD&A analysis and drafting footnote language.

Complete a tie-out of all numbers including reviewing supporting schedules and partnering with business leaders for further review.

Ensure all reporting is free from any footing/cross-footing or typographical errors.

Prepare elimination entries for inter-company transactions to accurately present consolidated financial statements.

Assist with standalone audits of subsidiaries.

Manage audit requests to ensure deliverables are provided and questions are resolved timely.

Operate in compliance with SOX guidelines and provide support for controls testing to internal/external auditors.

Compare actual results to budgets and perform variance analysis.

Suggest process improvements in order to create efficiencies and reduce timeframes for deliverables in the financial close and reporting processes.

Assist in cross-training for key processes to help ensure consistency.

Partner with other teams / departments on special projects.
