Responsibilities

Coordinate government-wide accountability policy with internal OPM stakeholders, including the MSAC Principal Deputy Associate Director (DAD), other DADs, ACE group and program managers, and relevant Workforce Policy and Innovation policy staff.
Recommend the implementation and resourcing of evaluation systems in agencies that may be reluctant to devote adequate time and resources to carry out programs that meet OPM’s standards.
Develop strategies, priorities, goals, and operating procedures for implementing and sustaining the Government's merit system accountability program.

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen or National
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation
May be required to successfully complete a probationary period
Complete the initial online assessment and USAHire Assessment, if required
You must have one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-14 grade level in the federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) 1) working with human resources professional to establish or improve human capital or accountability programs within federal agencies; 2) providing technical guidance to stakeholders on accountability programs and evaluation systems; 3) developing human capital or accountability technical guidance for cross-functional stakeholders.
Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS15 level.
You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
