Responsibilities

Leads activities to improve performance on the USDA DATA Act, including DATA Act and policy requirements for supplemental funding.

Performs analysis and develops strategic approaches to matters related to financial assistance and procurement reporting.

Provides advice and guidance to management on new and emerging issues related to financial assistance and procurement reporting.

Prepares policy statements and procedures for Accountability and Transparency reporting.

Required

You must be a US Citizen or US National.

Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.

Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.

Successful completion of one year probationary period, unless previously served.

Direct Deposit – Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.

Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.

Have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 level in Federal Service or equivalent responsibility in the private sector/pay systems that equipped me with the particular competencies to successfully perform as a Financial Systems Analyst.

Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade to be considered the GS-13 grade level.
