Responsibilities
Serve as Team Leader, supervising mid- and junior-level staff and working collaboratively with the Regional Director and other members of the portfolio team to set and execute the region’s new business agenda.
Manage proposal development for proposals, including comprehensive pre-positioning for proposals and managing live proposals.
Gather technical input and competitive intelligence from country offices, technical units, subject matter specialists, and other resource persons.
Work with country representatives, technical leads, other staff, and consultants to conceptualize and design proposals for new projects and/or follow-on funding to current projects.
Facilitate the development of strategic partnerships with other organizations and donors.
Maintain accurate information about business development opportunities in internal databases.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters, providing guidance and support in all aspects of the recruitment process.
Write sections of proposals and/or full proposals as appropriate; edit and proofread proposals.

Required
7+ years of experience in Public Resource Development or a related field.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and at least 9 years of relevant experience or Master’s Degree and at least 7 years of experience.
Proven successful track record with proposals to USAID, other USG funders, and/or other large international donors.
A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a Christian commitment to serving the poor.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
Self-starter in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to build strong team relationships with HQ and field-based colleagues.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
