Responsibilities

Extract, analyze, and assess the business needs and workflows; implement software configurations.
Design and implement solutions to include custom reports.
Responsible for data transformation from a multitude of sources into Origami database.
Develop SQL scripts and queries and lead data mapping activities
Test software development methodology in an agile environment.
Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
Depending on size and complexity of project, may also be assigned to perform duties of project

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
3+ years’ experience supporting the software implementation life-cycle
Understanding and experience with Origami/DuckCreek/Guideware SaaS software is required.
Knowledge of Agile development, DevSecOps practices, APIs and microservices
P&C Insurance industry experience required

Preferred

Past experience integrating the packaged solution with third parties like Origami/DuckCreek/Guideware preferred.
Development Technology expertise with SQL, XML, C#, HTML/CSS, JSON, Python and JavaScript
Experience with database migrations, conversions, and integrations within different software systems
Understanding of test automation leveraging testing tools such as Cypress, Newman Postman, Selenium, etc
Experience with SCM tools like GitHub
Basic knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Cloud Security; Cloud platforms, Automation
Strong communication skills; must be able to work in a self-driven manner within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Ability to quickly learn, apply new technologies
