Responsibilities
Providing DB2 technical support (administration, performance, design, and maintenance) for the multiple mainframe DB2 Databases.
Ensuring best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance and capacity planning and growth.
Helping to migrate mainframe data to newer relational databases.
Working with the DBA ITM1 to ensure that team goals and metrics are met.

Required
Experienced DB2 DBA who will support approximately 10 client database applications.
9 years of experience in IT
4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
Preferred
SQL Server DBA certification preferred but not required
Experience with Ohio state agencies – nice to have
