Responsibilities
Bring best in class technologies, innovation, and creativity to the table in developing technical solutions to solve complex multi-dimensional problems.
Perform a wide range of highly technical and advisory duties associated with the design, implementation and support of OIT Applications solutions.
Provide technology leadership by architecting, prototyping, researching, recommending, documenting, and assisting in implementing and evaluating technical solutions for business issues whether purchased or developed.
Interpret business, technical, regulatory, and architectural requirements in researching and recommending solutions.
Collaborate with CTO staff to establish standards and disciplined techniques for technical activities like creating new code, restructuring existing code, and maintaining version control and security.
Promote the understanding of OIT Architecture and industry standard patterns and practices.
Plan initiatives with OIT’s functional area teams based on budget, approaches and infrastructure to the OIT architecture governing principles and identify when it is necessary to modify underlying business processes or the OIT architecture standards to accommodate needs.

Required
Experience applying digital accessibility regulations and standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) to business processes, content, tools, and/or documents, with the ability to provide specific examples of accessibility improvements made.
Minimum of 10 years experience as a Developer, Systems Engineer, Solution Engineer, Systems Administrator, or other hands on technical experience.
Minimum of three years experience providing enterprise architecture solutions in a large organization.
Previous experience communicating and partnering with executive leadership, external stakeholders, and policy makers.
Preferred
Previous government sector experience with program delivery, strategic planning, enterprise technology design, and tech-enabled process creation.
