Responsibilities
Work closely with the Data Architect to develop, maintain, and enhance data solutions for analytics and BI.
Design and implement highly performant data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources using Databricks and Azure-native solutions.
Develop and document ETL/ELT architecture including CDC, mappings, data flows, procedures, schedules, etc., ensuring overall integration integrity.
Design and implement semantic layer based on reporting requirements from the BI and business teams.
Work with source system and business SME’s to develop an understanding of the data requirements and options available within data sources to meet the data and business requirements.
Analyze data quality upstream and downstream to build trust in data solutions.
Interact with external vendor teams to support BI initiative roll-out across multiple phases.
Support strategic decisions related to all things data and analytics, long-term BI investments, and the toolsets that will support these new initiatives.
Liaise and attend meetings necessary to perform duties and aid business and technical development.

Required
Bachelor’s degree required
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Minimum 1+ years of hands-on technical experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines in data solutions
Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience working with Databricks
Strong development skills in both Python and SQL
Good knowledge of standard methodologies, concepts, data modelling, best practices, and procedures within a Business Intelligence environment
Working experience in Azure or other cloud-based platforms
Good knowledge of standard concepts, best practices, and procedures within a data warehousing and business intelligence environment
Excellent organizational and communication skills to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Preferred
Power Automate experience a plus
