Responsibilities
Support IGC cloud migration from on-premise hosting environment to cloud-based infrastructure by setting up, configuring and managing AWS environments and services and creating a cloud migration architecture blueprint, migration strategy and accompanied Architecture Design Records.
Assist with the development, configuration, and validation of the IGC cloud enclave, development, test, and production environments.
Implement security practices and managing access controls in AWS.
Work with development teams to help architect and build scalable, highly available applications on AWS.
Assessing the health and performance of AWS services and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
Creating and maintaining disaster recovery strategies.
Handling operational tasks such as backup and restore, patch management, and system upgrades.
Documenting all processes and systems for future reference and updates.
Assists in other functions as directed by Program Manager.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR
Bachelor’s degree (any field) + One of the certifications: GCLD, GSEC, CSSLP, FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
8 years of experience as a Cloud Administrator
DoD Secret Clearance
This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (ie., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
Preferred
Experience with AWS; Administering Windows, RHEL, Unix; Gitlab, Artifactory, Python Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes; SQL Server, RDS, DynamoDB; Integration of COTS software; Scripting; Powershell.
Proficiency in Cloud services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, Glacier, SNS, EBS, CloudFront, SQS), CloudWatch
USTRANSCOM/DOD IT system knowledge
