Responsibilities

Achieve consistent growth in sales and gross margin, in accordance with sales budgets.
Identifying and qualifying prospective customers.
Developing and advancing sales projects for new and existing customers and managing these projects through all the phases.
Hosting and leading producer meetings to enhance the Kemin Brand and products in Canada and Distributors.
Establishing mutually beneficial business relationships with key motivators at assigned customers.
Making technical sales presentations on Kemin’s programs/products.
Helping customers to understand Kemin’s products and implementation strategies.
Identifying and resolving concerns.
Work closely with Kemin’s Distributors

Required

Bachelor’s degree or higher education in a science or agriculture related field with 7 + years of experience in technical sales within the animal agricultural industry.
A solid understanding of the chemical and biological sciences to prepare and present detailed technical and commercial presentations to prospective customers.
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office products and Customer Relation Management tools.
A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution and a distinct sense of urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Preferred

Preferred experience in managing sales projects through all the relevant phases of the project that will lead to a successful completion.
