Responsibilities
Administer and manage all aspects of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other related benefits
Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure smooth enrollment processes and resolve any issues that may arise
Conduct monthly benefits reconciliation, including reconciling carrier invoices
Review and resolve reconciliation discrepancies with invoices, payroll and/or enrollment data.
Oversee and manage all aspects of employee leave programs, including FMLA, disability, and other types of leaves
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to leave policies
Provide guidance to employees and managers on leave processes and documentation requirements
Collaborate with HR leadership to develop, update, and communicate benefits and leave policies to ensure alignment with company objectives and legal requirements
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits and leave policies
Assist employees in understanding and maximizing their benefits, providing education and resources as needed
Must be flexible for other HR related duties as assigned

Required
At least 1 year of experience in HR with a focus on benefits and leave management
Able to learn our HRIS, benefits and talent management systems
An excellent communicator with outstanding people skills.
A team player with a result driven approach
Proactive, resourceful, and able to self-manage
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities
Great problem-solving skills and basic understanding of HR procedures and policies
Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to benefits and leave
Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic environment
Basic understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes a proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Preferred
Some broader domain knowledge and/or training in HR processes and functions is preferred.
SHRM-CP a plus but not required
