Responsibilities
Be an off-site member of a small development team of three people
Fully understand the overall system architecture
Develop the functional modules assigned by the team leader
Take into account all the best practices to guarantee the highest product quality (unit test, code reviews, etc.), coordinating also with the QA team leader based in Brazil
Organize and track properly the activities in a structured way, applying the Agile SW development principles
Document what being implemented
Establish an effective communication channel with the development team to be constantly aligned on a daily basis
Join all the team meetings as scheduled by the leader
Proactively suggest improvements

Required
Embedded systems programming experience with an understanding of the C language
Equipment automation experience, open/closed loop designs
Environmental control concepts
GUI design
Familiarity with GIT
Application testing experience
Ability to work in multiple roles
Agile development process experience
Familiarity with Azure DevOps (or equivalent tools)
Autonomy and proactivity
Fluent in English in both verbal and written communication (mandatory)
Ability to travel to US every 3 months (VISA Required)
