Responsibilities

Designing, developing, testing, and deploying distributed open-source message broker systems and large-scale solutions for our world-wide customer base.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional peers and open source project maintainers to influence our overall strategy and define the team’s roadmap.

Driving the system architecture, spearheading best practices that enable a quality product, and helping coach and develop junior engineers.

Required

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

A track record of contributing to and participating in open source software development efforts.
