Responsibilities

Analyze effectiveness of current compensation methodologies, processes, and tools to optimize pay structures that support business objectives.
Act as a subject matter expert, supporting the HR team on processes aligned to compensation systems, procedures, and reporting.
Develop and maintain compensation philosophy approaches and programming to create competitive, equitable, and aligned approaches for the business.
Identify processes within compensation that require change to ensure appropriate governance, compliance, and improvement of business applications and processes.
Support and develop materials for senior leadership requests for compensation board committee reporting
Evaluate and create business compensation proposal for executive compensation
Plan for compensation operational initiatives and establish roles and activities that support the change process.
Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to identify and address organizational development needs, gaps, and opportunities within the compensation space.
In coordination with HR partners, ensure product configuration and implementation of HRIS and compensation tools are optimized, business processes are efficient, and the employee experience is seamless.
Collaborate with HR and other cross-functional teams to ensure that compensation initiatives are integrated with other HR programs and processes.
Develop and maintain relationships with compensation survey providers and industry groups.
Create and develop job architecture program including job levels, job families, job titles, job descriptions, competencies, and compensation structures.
Lead, conduct, and analyze salary surveys to benchmark the organization’s compensation against the market.
Build compensation philosophy frameworks and standard processes to ensure effective and equitable practices
Perform job evaluations to determine appropriate salary levels and classifications.
Provide oversight in developing the framework, templates, and tools aimed at creating efficiencies and simplifying the compensation process with consistent execution.
Identify training and development needs within the team and provide relevant coaching and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Analyze compensation trends and metrics to proactively identify and lead initiatives to meet organizational objectives.
Oversee the entire job evaluation process from data collection to reporting.
Screen compensation data, conduct initial analyses, and coordinate with HR partners.
Build and maintain a database of compensation data for future reference.
Ensure a positive experience for employees and managers throughout the compensation process.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Build relationships across the organization to ensure trust, confidence, and credibility.
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and workforce planning needs.
Participate in strategic planning meetings to ensure compensation efforts are aligned with the overall business strategy.
Act as a strategic partner to the business by aligning compensation strategies with organizational goals.
Maintain accurate reports of all compensation activities and provide regular reports to senior management.
Monitor and analyze compensation metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Develop solutions for specific organizational and business challenges, align stakeholders to objectives, and plan to implement strategies.
Monitor and continually improve the effectiveness of compensation programs and products to ensure advancement of the organizational strategy and culture through compensation strategies and employee experience.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
2-4 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR role.
Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Attention to detail and precision in data analysis and reporting.
Demonstrated experience establishing strong relationships with leaders at all levels.
Must be computer proficient and possess experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications related to the business.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Able to analyze data and statistics and draw reasonable conclusions and compile accurate reports.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and other documents.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and tactfully present information to, and communicate with, co-workers, employees, and others.
Possess exceptional English written and verbal communication skills, including accurate grammar and business correspondence knowledge.
Ability to read and write memos, reports, and correspondence that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and leaders to identify solutions, training needs, develop resources and training curriculum that align with adult learning principles.
Strong organizational, time management and conflict management skills.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Able to establish and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with an ability to lead through influence.
Ability to work consultatively and solve problems independently.
Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Organized, detail-oriented, diplomatic, proactive, self-motivated, dependable, and driven by excellence.
Even-tempered and able to balance multiple tasks in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

Advanced Degree in Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, PHR or SPHR designation.
Experience in HR within the healthcare sector with 2000+ employee companies.
