They are seeking an intern for the Emerging Issues & Data Analytics role to empower the North American Safety Office by driving the development of their Advanced Analytics System and ensuring business processes reflect their commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Digital Business Planning on the use of AI technology for use in data analytics

Develop a proposal on the use of generative AI within safety data analytics

Conduct safety case evaluations

Lead the annual review and revision of SOP's

Lead the annual review of the SODAS operations manual

Required

Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between December 2025 through June 2027

Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week

Available for a full-time paid internship in June to August 2025

Local to NHQ (no relocation or housing will be offered)

Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship

Hybrid schedule (onsite 3-4x per week, depending on business/project need)

Visa sponsorship is not available

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Genuine passion for the automotive industry

Enthusiasm for learning and applying technical skills in the automotive industry

Strong interest in the automotive industry and emerging technologies

Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record

Preferred

Coursework or experience in analyzing large data sets, or related areas is highly preferred
