Responsibilities

Assist with the month-end close process

Assist with running and analyzing reports for month-end and year-end review and for tax purposes

Aid in the preparation of general ledger reconciliations

Research and reconcile any discrepancies, as needed

Responsible for weekly and monthly linear and streaming accounts payable with TV and streaming networks

Own accounts payable activities in this media-focused subsidiary to ensure the accuracy of entries and timeliness of paying vendors

Manage vendor outreach and relationship management

Assist with the preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations

Support the company accounting team and ensure backup documentation is properly organized.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or similar major)

1+ years of accounting experience obtained in either a public accounting or corporate environment

Understanding of GL structure

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel

Working knowledge of GAAP

Preferred

CPA or CPA eligible preferred

Knowledge of Sage Intacct is a plus
