Responsibilities
Provide technical support and customer service to Outboard dealers, boat builders, and consumers
Exercise independent judgment in resolving product issues and approving/denying warranty claims
Maintain detailed records of correspondence with internal and external customers
Assist with parts inspection and determine warranty eligibility for failed components
Act as an instructor for in-house product service training and participate in special projects

Required
Graduate of Technical College preferred
Two to four years of technical experience in the marine industry or related field
Experience servicing Mercury products
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with minimal oversight
Preferred
Previous experience in a technical support role within the marine industry
Knowledge of Mercury Marine policies and procedures
Certification as a Mercury Certified Technician
Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Desire to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion
