Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year strategy that supports Good Energy Collective’s mission to advance clean energy and equity
Lead relationship-building with individual, foundation, and corporate donors, providing stewardship that honors their commitment and amplifies their impact
As part of GEC-wide perennial strategic planning processes, work with GEC leadership and external advisors to develop strategic plans for GEC’s development strategic plan, incremental updates to the plan, plan monitoring, and related process development
Oversee all aspects of grant processes, from researching opportunities and proposal writing to reporting on milestones and impacts
Plan and implement GEC development’s technical operating systems, especially its CRM
Develop systems to qualify high-propensity donors tailored to various tactical approaches (e.g., direct contact, list serves, in-person events, etc.)
Work with Directors to establish touchpoints with other GEC teams to cultivate insights and outputs that support development initiative storytelling
Work cross-functionally with our Policy, Communications, and Community Engagement teams to connect donor interests with organizational needs and goals
Serve as a trusted liaison between Good Energy Collective and key stakeholders, ensuring consistent and transparent communication on our progress and milestones

Required

Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, public policy, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of work experience with 5 years in a development or fundraising role
Proven track record in donor cultivation and relationship management
Proficiency in using and developing operating procedures for CRM platforms and development software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, Little Green Light)
Experience developing routine cross-departmental processes and managing complex projects in line with project management best practices
Exceptional communication, networking, and relationship-building abilities to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
Deep alignment with Good Energy Collective’s mission to bring clean energy and social equity to communities across the nation
