Responsibilities

Write and edit compelling copy for a variety of marketing channels, including emails, SMS messages, push notifications, and website content.

Collaborate with the marketing team to determine and slot the right messaging strategy and creative cadence for different audience segments.

Develop and optimize content for the company website and LinkedIn, ensuring brand consistency and engagement.

Ensure all copy aligns with industry regulations, compliance standards, and company policies related to debt collection communication.

Use data and consumer insights to refine messaging and improve engagement across various touchpoints.

Work cross-functionally with design, strategy, tech, and execution teams to ensure the creative vision aligns with company goals and audience needs.

Continually test and optimize messaging for maximum effectiveness, based on KPIs and feedback.

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in copywriting, with a strong portfolio of digital marketing campaigns (preferably in consumer finance, collections, or a regulated industry).

Strong understanding of the debt collection industry, consumer finance regulations, and best practices for compliant communications.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive results and align with business goals.

Experience writing for email, SMS, push notifications, and web content. Familiarity with email marketing platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.

Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear, empathetic, and engaging manner.

A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field is preferred.
