Responsibilities
Develop and communicate UI design strategies that align with the overall vision and goals of the project.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
Use rapid prototyping while working directly in-engine to build widgets, layouts, and other interface elements at a playable level.
Iterate and polish existing interfaces to a shippable quality bar.
Collaborate with game designers, artists, and engineers to ensure cohesive and consistent user experiences.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI design.
Document UI processes, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in UI Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional experience in UI design, with a significant portion in the gaming industry.
Strong proficiency in UI design tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
Proven experience leading UI design projects from concept to implementation.
Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI design projects and methodologies.
Ability to create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform design decisions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working with Unreal Engine.
Preferred
Knowledge of front-end development languages and scripting, either visual or traditional.
Experience with motion design and creating interactive prototypes.
Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices in UI design.
Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game design principles.
