Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain robust ETL processes for importing data from diverse healthcare systems and formats
Develop and optimize data mapping strategies to ensure accurate data translation between different systems
Create and maintain data quality checks and validation processes
Collaborate with the product team to develop new data import features and improve existing ones
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues
Implement and maintain data security and privacy measures in compliance with healthcare regulations
Develop and maintain documentation for data import processes and workflows
Collaborate with client success teams to support custom data migration projects

Required
Deep experience with MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL
Extensive experience with various ETL platforms like dbt, Fivetran, and AWS Glue
Proficiency in using interactive data mapping tools like Alteryx
Strong programming skills in PHP or Python
Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
Experience with tools like Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright
Occasional weekend work (with comp time)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or similar role
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred
Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
Healthcare industry experience is a plus
