Acquisitions Manager – Multi-Family Real Estate Syndications

Responsibilities
Sourcing Multi-Family Acquisition Opportunities: Proactively identify and source acquisition opportunities for the company’s growing portfolio, with a focus on both on-market and off-market deals. Leverage relationships with brokers, property owners, and landlords to uncover hidden opportunities.
Develop & Nurture Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key players in the real estate ecosystem, including brokers, commercial agents, property owners, and other real estate professionals. Develop and manage a network of trusted partners to drive deal flow.
Lead Acquisition Negotiations: Lead negotiations and manage the acquisition process from start to finish, including due diligence, deal structuring, and closing. Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure a smooth transaction process.
Use of CRM & Data Analysis: Utilize CRM systems to track acquisition leads, pipeline progress, and follow-up strategies. Maintain detailed records on properties, owners, brokers, and acquisition opportunities.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on multi-family market trends, property values, rental income potential, and local market conditions to make informed decisions and identify high-value investment opportunities.
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement marketing campaigns aimed at commercial agents, brokers, and property owners. Focus on building awareness and expanding our deal sourcing channels.
Lead Acquisition Strategy: Develop acquisition funnels for both direct-to-seller deals and brokered opportunities, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified leads. Strategize and execute outreach efforts to secure off-market deals and distressed properties.
Industry Networking & Representation: Represent the company at industry events, broker meetings, and conferences to expand your network, learn about market opportunities, and promote the company’s brand as a trusted investor.
Portfolio Strategy and Expansion: Assist in shaping the firm’s acquisition strategy, with an eye toward expanding our portfolio through targeted, high-return investment properties. Work closely with the senior leadership team to align acquisition targets with the company’s long-term growth goals.

Required
3-5 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, specifically in multi-family or commercial properties. A proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing deals is required.
Strong understanding of multi-family real estate markets, including knowledge of local trends, valuations, and key metrics such as cap rates, cash-on-cash returns, and IRR.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation systems. Ability to build and maintain a pipeline of acquisition opportunities, track communications, and measure performance.
Strong relationship-building skills, with experience in managing broker and seller relationships. Ability to negotiate and maintain positive, long-term partnerships with key industry players.
Excellent ability to analyze property portfolios, financial statements, and investment opportunities. Comfort with underwriting multi-family deals and presenting findings to senior leadership and investors.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to effectively negotiate deals, present opportunities, and convey investment strategies to a variety of stakeholders.
Highly motivated and independent, with the ability to work remotely, prioritize tasks, and drive results. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, or a related field.
Preferred
Professional certifications (e.g., Real Estate License, CCIM) are a plus.
