Responsibilities
Define and develop product strategies and roadmaps for outsourced solutions in the manufacturing sector.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, launch new products and services, and position CBPS best for growth in this arena.
Incorporate other Canon (CVI) solutions into solutions that deliver competitive advantage and value.
Ability to develop go-to-market strategies from research and creation to deployment and refinement.
Serve as an additional contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring our current solutions deliver value.
Work closely with sales and account management teams to develop expanded offerings that meet client objectives.
Gather and analyze client feedback to continuously improve offerings.
Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation through to launch and post-launch performance.
Create detailed solution specifications, user stories, sales aids, marketing materials and workflows.
Monitor performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize offerings.
Work closely with solution architects, operations, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders and senior management.
Partner with training department to develop curriculum, materials and assist with training sessions for internal teams and potentially clients.
External market education through thought leadership, social media and industry forums.
Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in manufacturing.
Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations to enhance our competitive edge.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
7 + years of experience in product management, preferably within the manufacturing, supply chain and/or outsourcing sectors, leading strategic initiatives, product/service roll outs
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, challenges, and technology solutions
Proven track record of successfully managing product lifecycles and delivering client-centric solutions
Ability to influence results without direct authority
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of and application of Microsoft Project Plan, Visio, Access, Publisher, Word, Excel Spreadsheets and PowerPoint
30%+ travel
National support, based in central region near major airport
Preferred
MBA or equivalent experience
