Responsibilities
Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers in target academic medical centers and teaching hospitals
Lead partnership discussions and negotiations for clinical pilot programs
Coordinate with internal teams to align technical requirements with hospital protocols
Manage the complete business development cycle from prospect identification to partnership execution
Work closely with clinical teams to establish data collection protocols
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional requirements
Create compelling presentation materials and value propositions for stakeholders

Required
5+ years of business development experience in healthcare/medical device industry
Proven track record of securing partnerships with academic medical centers or teaching hospitals
Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes and clinical research protocols
Experience with surgical device implementation or operating room workflows
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance standards
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
US Citizen
Open to on-going college or graduate students in engineering
If you have a non-BME degree, must have an engineering degree with BME work experience.
Bachelor's degree required in biomedical, chemical, or mechanical engineering; MBA or advanced degree encouraged
Preferred
Previous experience with surgical devices or AI/ML healthcare solutions
Established network within academic medical institutions
Background in clinical research or medical device trials
Experience with IRB processes and clinical data collection protocols
