Responsibilities
Cloud Strategy & Architecture : Provide strategic guidance on cloud architecture, design, development, deployment, and operation.
Client Engagement : Conduct in-depth client assessments to identify needs and recommend scalable, cost-effective cloud solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Advise teams on technology selection and architectural improvements to drive cloud transformation.
Roadmap Development : Create multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architectural strategies.
Mentorship : Coach and mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Industry Trends : Stay up-to-date with cloud technology advancements and share insights with clients and internal teams.
Business Development : Support proposal writing, presentations, and contract negotiation, while building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Technical Communication : Explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences with clarity.

Required
At least 10 years of experience in IT consulting, with at least 5 years of experience in AWS cloud consulting.
Experience with driving end to end cloud AWS cost optimization assessments.
Experience architecting and delivering cloud-based solutions in various industries.
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional required.
Demonstrated experience in crafting well-architected designs, application development, testing, resiliency and operational stability to utilize the capabilities of cloud computing for applications.
Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
Understanding of building secure cloud solutions.
Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture.
Drive domain modeling, designing, and handling of complex and scalable architectures, building container eco-systems for micro services.
Proficient in cloud-native technologies, such as containers, microservices, serverless, DevSecOps, CI/CD, etc.
Proficient in infrastructure & operations, such as Active Directory, networking, storage management, performance tuning, capacity planning, IT budgeting.
Proficient in security & compliance frameworks such as NIST and compliance/policy as code.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and develop a team.
Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver high quality solutions across multi-disciplinary teams.
Computer Science or Engineering degree.
Preferred
AWS DevOps Professional and Security certifications preferred.
Certifications in one or more cloud platforms or technologies are preferred.
Proven history of leveraging and growing existing client base [organic business development].
P&L experience from a comparably sized company.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally & collaborate within teams.
Demonstrated ability to work with a partner ecosystem.
