Responsibilities
Lead and manage credit, billing, collections, and cash application teams.
Oversee the AR collections process, resolving customer inquiries, disputes, and payment delays.
Champion process improvements to enhance billing efficiency, collections, and cash flow.
Develop and implement effective invoice treatment strategies and coordinate district collection activities.
Collaborate with internal divisions to address collection challenges and streamline processes.
Monitor delinquent accounts, ensuring compliance with payment terms and minimizing risk.
Prepare AR reserve analysis and provide month-end reporting on DSO, aged balances, and cash collections.
Drive automation initiatives and process optimizations to reduce the cash collection cycle.
Analyze customer accounts, resolve issues, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
5–10 years of progressive experience in billing and collections, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in collections and credit practices, including familiarity with tools like Get Paid or Bill.com.
Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS and technical accounting concepts.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and lead process improvements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred
Proficiency with NetSuite and PowerBI.
