Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber BDD frameworks.
Perform rigorous testing on Mainframe systems, ensuring functionality and integration are seamless.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and execute test cases.
Analyze, document, and communicate test results to stakeholders.
Continuously optimize the automation framework for scalability and efficiency.
Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolutions.
Develop and manage test plans, scenarios, and data for comprehensive testing coverage.

Required

Expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber BDD Frameworks.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and associated utilities.
Ability to integrate automation into Mainframe workflows.
Proficiency in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Familiarity with Junit/TestNG for test validation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in agile, collaborative environments.

Preferred

Hands-on experience with DevOps tools for CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, Git, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with mainframe automation tools like Rational Functional Tester (RFT) or similar.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
