Responsibilities

Providing DB2 technical support (administration, performance, design, and maintenance) for the multiple mainframe DB2 Databases
Ensure best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance and capacity planning and growth
Helping to migrate mainframe data to newer relational databases
Work with the DBA ITM1 to ensure that team goals and metrics are met

Required

9+ years experience
DB2 technical support (administration, performance, design, and maintenance) for the multiple mainframe DB2 Databases
Ensure best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance and capacity planning and growth
Additional knowledge in relational databases
Work with the DBA ITM1 to ensure that team goals and metrics are met
Support approximately 10 ODJFS database applications

Preferred

4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
SQL Server DBA certification
State agency experience
