Responsibilities
Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable applications on Heroku, integrating with Salesforce and other cloud services.
Utilize Heroku Add-ons, Heroku Connect, and Heroku Postgres for seamless data synchronization and app functionality.
Create and manage APIs (REST/SOAP) to integrate Salesforce with external systems using Heroku.
Implement real-time and batch data synchronization between Salesforce and Heroku.
Build custom solutions on Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Develop Heroku apps using JavaScript, Node.js, Python, or other programming languages supported on Heroku.
Design and maintain Heroku Postgres databases, optimizing queries and performance.
Ensure data integrity and security between Heroku and Salesforce.
Monitor and optimize Heroku application performance using tools like New Relic and Heroku Metrics.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Salesforce and Heroku applications.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Salesforce administrators, architects, and business analysts, to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Document technical designs, configurations, and processes for Salesforce-Heroku integrations.

Required
Need 5 years of experience in Heroku app development and Salesforce integration.
Strong proficiency in Salesforce development (Apex, SOQL, LWC).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce and Heroku deployments.
Knowledge of security and compliance best practices for Salesforce and Heroku.
Familiarity with other Salesforce tools, including Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud.
Expertise in Heroku platform tools, Heroku Connect, and Add-ons.
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Java.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and data integration techniques.
Knowledge of database systems, particularly Heroku Postgres and Salesforce.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Preferred
Salesforce Platform Developer I/II (preferred).
Salesforce Certified Heroku Architecture Designer (preferred).
