Responsibilities
Assigned to a Scrum team where you will be developing test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on the business, user, and functional/nonfunctional requirements.
Participating in daily stand ups.
Participating in weekly planning and refinement meetings
Utilizing JIRA for project planning and tracking
Collaborating with the Product Owner on a regular basis
Conducting automated tests using user-level test automation tools and/or behavioral-driven test scenarios
Validating and documenting the completion of testing and development processes to ensure compliance standards are met.

Required
Must have working knowledge of test management and manual/automated testing tools for regression, cross browser, and functional testing.
Must have experience in an Agile/Scrum environment; we operate in 2-week sprints.
Must have 2+ years of experience in functionality/systems testing.
Must have 2+ years of experience in JavaScript.
Must have strong SQL experience for creating, updating, and deleting data for the creation of test data.
Must have working automation experience with front end and back end testing.
Must have API testing and API automation experience.
Must be able to work cross-functionally to identify gaps or missing elements across the test cycle, collaborate with User Experience and Customer Support to incorporate customer feedback into testing approaches, and provide insights on best practices to ensure that deadlines are executed.
Must have knowledge of underlying technologies supporting the applications under test i.e., REST API’s, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, SQL, SFTP, microservices, and cloud architecture.
Must have working knowledge/experience with Agile work planning tools (JIRA or similar).
Must have working knowledge/experience with source-control change management software (GIT or similar).
Must have working knowledge/experience with test management software (TestRail or similar).
Must have working knowledge/experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins or similar).
Must have working knowledge/experience with application performance management (NewRelic, Splunk, or similar).
Ability to showcase an understanding of general testing techniques such as functional, integration performance and regression testing.
Healthcare industry and X12 EDI experience is required.
Experience with Cucumber is required.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver is required.
Basic Knowledge of Docker, Git, and related technologies.
A team player who can jump right in to adapt and adopt to Availity's Processes.
Experience with API tools like Insomnia or Postman.
Preferred
AWS cloud certification is a plus.
Experience with RedShift is a plus.
