Responsibilities
Serving as an executive team member, working to direct cross-functional teams (product, security, engineering) to adopt and execute on an Enterprise Architecture/ Infrastructure road map
Creating a strategic plan for the organization’s IT structure and operations, with a goal infrastructure scalability, robustness, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Selling the vision!! Driving the design and architecture of the company's cloud infrastructure that covers home-grown microservice applications, cloud data / datawarehouse, network, security, and platform deployment (CI/CD, DevOps) solutions.
Lead a high-performing team of architects, engineers, and technology professionals. Leaning on external dev partners in conjunction with a small team of FTEs.
Collaborating with the compliance team to implement and maintain robust security measures aligned to HIPAA / HITRUST environments
Planning for, and managing the enterprise architecture department's annual budget,
Ensure architectural and infrastructure design adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Overseeing the evaluation of current state/ future state T systems and identifying areas for enhancement and consolidation.
Introducing Microsoft Cloud services spanning IT Infrastructure and Platform CI/CD & DevOps environments
Establishing and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework and standards, ensuring that it supports business processes and facilitates seamless integration across systems and applications.
Effectively communicating technology strategies, solutions, and progress to executive leadership and stakeholders - both internal, and external.
Build strong relationships with business units and external vendors
Working closely with procurement and vendor management teams to negotiate contracts and maintain strong partnerships with technology vendors and service providers.

Required
Bachelor Degree
10+ years of professional experience
5-7+ years of recent Healthcare Industry experience (Health Insurer, Healthcare Provider, Hospitals, etc)
Enterprise Architecture Certification (Zachman, TOGAF, etc)
subject matter expertise within the Microsoft / Azure stack
Strong Azure IaaS & PaaS Strategy experience
Azure Cloud Services
Terraform
Azure DevOps

AZ 305 - Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
