Vice President - Transmission & Interconnection

Responsibilities
Develop and implement interconnection strategies for projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory and technical requirements.
Evaluate interconnection tariffs, queue positions, costs, and risks to guide project siting and design decisions
Manage relationships with regional transmission organizations (RTOs) and independent system operators (ISOs) such as MISO, PJM, SPP, CAISO, and ERCOT.
Lead the US Transmission team, including recruitment, development, and retention of top-tier talent.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms to ensure the design and execution of reliable, cost-effective systems.
Provide strategic insights on electricity market policies to identify new opportunities and enhance project competitiveness.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in transmission planning or interconnection roles, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
In-depth knowledge of interconnection protocols and processes across major US markets (e.g., ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, MISO).
Strong understanding of electricity market policy and transmission planning principles.
Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead teams, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
