Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive, dynamic web applications using modern web technologies.

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly web interfaces.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to create interactive web pages.

Work with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs, databases, and other third-party services into the web applications.

Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues, including browser compatibility, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.

Ensure that web applications are cross-browser compatible and work seamlessly on different devices.

Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Write and maintain test cases for web applications and perform debugging and troubleshooting during the development lifecycle.

Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in web development, including new frameworks and libraries.

Implement responsive design techniques to ensure web applications are mobile-friendly and adaptive to various screen sizes.

Participate in code reviews and ensure high coding standards and best practices are followed.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role.

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including ES6+).

Experience with front-end libraries and frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.

Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating web services.

Experience in version control systems, particularly Git.

Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development.

Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less) and CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, TailwindCSS).

Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards.

Experience in web performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, caching).

Required Security clearance.

Collaborate across multiple teams.

Preferred

Experience in back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Ruby on Rails, or ASP.NET is a plus.

Experience with SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus.

Federal Experience is a plus.
