Responsibilities

Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to align with organizational goals.

Plan and manage the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

Forecast technology trends and assess their impact on business operations.

Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of information systems.

Oversee upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting of IT systems and applications.

Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.

Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Assign responsibilities, evaluate performance, and manage resources effectively.

Facilitate ongoing training and development to stay updated on the latest technologies.

Prepare and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with organizational objectives.

Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and contractors.

Develop and enforce policies to ensure data security, system integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Implement risk management practices, conduct audits, and ensure disaster recovery protocols are in place.

Act as a liaison between IT and other business units to identify and implement technology solutions.

Communicate system capabilities and constraints to non-technical stakeholders.

Support the organization in leveraging data for strategic decision-making.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Experience in IT management or a similar role

Proven experience managing information systems, networks, and databases

Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP), CRM, and cloud technologies

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

In-depth knowledge of IT systems, applications, and cybersecurity best practices

Proficiency in project management and system implementation methodologies

Experience with IT governance frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT

Required Security clearance

Preferred

Master’s degree

Federal Experience is a plus
