Responsibilities

Integration Strategy & Execution: Design and execute integration projects with external partners, translating business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, business development, and data & engineering teams to understand and prioritize integration objectives, aligning them with our overall product strategy.

Technical Leadership: Guide technical discussions and decisions around architecture, data flow, and workflows within integration projects, setting high standards for quality and efficiency.

Data Handling & Optimization: Oversee the secure, scalable, and efficient handling of large datasets, optimizing data processes to support the scale and complexity of our business needs.

Architectural Insight : Build a deep understanding of Whimstay's platform, focusing on scalable architecture and thoughtful design. Drive technical decisions that prioritize intuitive structure, maintainability, and adaptability, ensuring the platform evolves seamlessly with future needs.

Workflow Design & Process Improvement: Develop and enhance workflows to streamline integrations, improving both time-to-market and the quality of integration efforts.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical issues into actionable business insights and vice versa.

Project Ownership : Lead and take full ownership of projects, from initial design through to implementation and delivery. Ensure each project aligns with Whimstay's architectural goals and design principles, creating impactful solutions that enhance the platform’s scalability and user experience.

Required

5+ years in software engineering or technical project management, with a focus on integrations and managing large data environments.

Demonstrated experience in delivering complex integrations with large datasets, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Ability to interpret business objectives and align technical integrations accordingly, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.

Proficiency in architecture design, data structures, and workflows, with hands-on experience in languages and frameworks relevant to large-scale integrations.

A mindset for creating high-quality, well-architected solutions that are efficient, scalable, and future-proof.

Adept at conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, making recommendations that align with business value.
