Responsibilities
Lead medium to large-scale IT projects, including multiple small to medium-risk initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Plan and organize daily tasks for project teams, monitor progress, and resolve challenges to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Collaborate with technical teams, business users, Medicaid provider communities, and federal grant stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and resolve complex technical issues.
Translate technical concepts into non-technical language for stakeholders and management, ensuring clear understanding of project objectives, risks, and deliverables.
Conduct detailed risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Apply quality assurance practices to ensure all technical solutions meet predefined standards and requirements.
Develop comprehensive reports and visual presentations to communicate progress, challenges, and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Maintain thorough project documentation, including project charters, plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports, in adherence to DIT standards and practices.

Required
Minimum of 5 years managing medium to large-scale IT projects, with at least one project involving medium risk and high complexity.
Knowledge of project management processes, documentation, procedures, checklists, and reporting criteria.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and multitask effectively.
Well-versed in IT applications, platforms, and enterprise operational strategies.
Experience in designing and managing technical projects, including testing and implementing quality assurance practices.
Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical and business issues.
Experience in detailed project planning, testing, and risk mitigation.
Strong ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
High-level written communication skills, with proficiency in developing reports and graphical presentations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
Preferred
Experience with Medicaid or healthcare IT projects.
Familiarity with federal grant management processes.
PMP certification or equivalent project management accreditation.
