Responsibilities

Define and document user stories for AWP module implementation and enhancement.

Develop SQL queries, XML-based interface changes, and support system integrations with legacy systems (e.g., SAP, SharePoint).

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and demonstrate system capabilities.

Provide technical and functional guidance to the team, ensuring adherence to AASHTO best practices.

Perform testing, validation, and rollout of new system features, ensuring quality and compliance.

Create user training materials and support process visualizations.

Required

Expertise with AASHTOWare Project software, particularly Preconstruction, Civil Rights & Labor, and Data Analytics modules.

Strong knowledge of SQL, XML, and web application development tools (C#, .NET, Python, etc.).

Experience in Agile development, including SCRUM and DevOps practices.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Excellent communication skills and experience in technical documentation and training.

Familiarity with state Department of Transportation (DOT) processes and systems.

Preferred

Experience in project coordination and using Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with large enterprise systems requiring integration (e.g., SharePoint, SAP).

Background in process engineering and data analysis.
