Responsibilities
Drives the sales process to identify and target potential clients within the manufacturing, logistics, and construction industries to ensure revenue targets identified in the annual budget are achieved.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Work alongside the marketing team to develop and prepare compelling value-proposition presentations.
Travel to customer site locations, events, trade shows to deliver compelling presentations that showcase the full value proposition showcasing all available products and services.
In conjunction with the General Manager, negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts and deliver proposals to clients.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensure a seamless experience from initial contact through to order fulfillment.
Track sales activities, prepare reports, and analyze performance metrics.
Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, updated weekly at a minimum.
Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to help shape product development and improvement.
Consistently demonstrate commitment and support for the Sterling vision, mission, policies and procedures.
Performs work in compliance with work instructions and policies as outlined by management.
Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, customer-centricity, and compliance.
Cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to support departmental needs and overall business goals.
All other duties and projects assigned.

Required
Minimum of eight (8) years’ sales experience required, lumber, manufacturing, or related industry is preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills are essential.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including long workdays and frequent weekend work.
Must be proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office products.
Preferred
A Bachelor’s Degree in business management, marketing or related field is preferred.
Minimum of eight (8) years’ sales experience required, lumber, manufacturing, or related industry is preferred.
