Responsibilities

The Agile Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, consulting, and managing complex Agile web/app front-end and back-end projects

This role will communicate with project sponsors, stakeholders, and vendors to coordinate and facilitate all project activities

Manages software, systems, and business projects

Works closely with product managers to define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery

Performs delivery planning and managing project risks for assigned projects and teams

Prepares project documentation as required including plans, stories, burn ups, burn downs, release plans, postmortem and other documents as needed

Aids in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work

Supports the Product Managers in managing expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance

Defines and manages a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management

Promotes empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace

Required

Five (5) years of project management related experience

Experience working as Scrum Master

Experience managing agile software development projects

Ability to create and deliver influential large-scale project communications with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm

Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments / projects simultaneously

Relevant work experience in technology with a broad understanding across multiple IT disciplines

Understanding of leadership development and engagement techniques

Strong written / verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
