Responsibilities

Manage Enterprise IT teams in domains of Applications, Offshore IT, Business Systems, Engineering, and Support

Provide direction, coordination, cross-functional communication, and strategic leadership to execute on the Enterprise IT business strategy

Lead the Enterprise IT team as Yahoo embarks on a multi-year transition to the public cloud

Ensure team is structured to effectively deliver value via high quality and cost effective solutions - continually evaluate and create a go-forward organizational strategy

Partner with the stakeholders to align and prioritize current and future IT initiatives in support of the global business objectives

Evaluate installed software solutions and identify areas to improve standards, simplify, enhance functionality and/or transition to solutions to improve supportability

Create and manage roadmap Enterprise IT initiatives

Required

Over 10 years of leadership positions in the IT field, operating at a global scale

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software or data or system engineering.

Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems and technologies, including networking, security, cloud computing, and data management

Experience leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex enterprise IT systems

Familiarity with industry best practices and trends in enterprise IT

Proven ability to manage globally distributed teams

Proven ability to deliver complex cross-functional projects
