Responsibilities
Manage all financial aspects of assigned projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking, from start to finish.
Prepare and review invoices, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and compliance with contract terms.
Collaborate with project teams and clients to verify billable hours, resolve billing issues, and maintain smooth financial operations.
Monitor project performance, provide financial reports, and deliver insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations for revenue recognition and project finances.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities and maintain organized records for audits and reviews.
Serve as a liaison between project managers, finance teams, and clients, offering guidance on financial processes and best practices.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or a similar role
Strong understanding of project management principles and accounting standards
Proficiency in accounting software
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Preferred
Worked in project-based accounting for an internal finance team
Worked with a project centric ERP, we use Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint
