Responsibilities

Oversee IT Operations - Manage the daily operations of IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, reliability, and efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development - Lead, mentor, and develop the IT operations team, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment.

System and Network Administration - Oversee network, server, and system administration, ensuring high availability and optimal performance across IT assets.

Incident and Problem Management - Respond to and resolve IT incidents and problems swiftly, minimizing downtime and ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.

IT Security Management - Implement and maintain security protocols and policies to protect organizational data and IT assets from internal and external threats.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance of IT systems and provide regular reports to senior management.

Budget Management - Manage the IT operations budget, optimize costs, and ensure efficient use of resources in alignment with business goals.

Compliance and Best Practices - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices, including data protection and privacy regulations.

Tableau Reporting and Dashboard Development - Create, manage, and optimize Tableau reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that meet the evolving operational and strategic needs of the organization.

Continuous Improvement - Identify areas for improvement, recommend innovative solutions, and implement upgrades and optimizations to enhance operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with other departments to understand IT needs, align initiatives, and deliver effective IT solutions that support organizational goals.

Required

Must have or had experience with at least 1 EHR implementation to full completion

Healthcare experience of at least 5 years is required

Must have extensive experience managing IT functions remotely across multiple states.

Minimum of 5-7 years of IT management experience, with at least 5 years in the healthcare industry.

Experience with infrastructure assessment, design, implementation, and support.

Experience in programming (specifically SQL, Python and batch scripting)

Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (e.g. HIPAA, HITECH, Cybersecurity) as they relate to Healthcare Information Technology and ability to provide recommendations on implications related to said laws/regulations
