Responsibilities
Manages and protects technology assets throughout their life cycle, from acquisition through final disposition.
Assists with the design, development, and implementation of asset management policies, procedures, and processes.
Coordinates with management in utilizing the asset management tools to analyze, review and track asset data.
Develops asset control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, and location.
Ensures the department is maintaining accurate inventory records of various IT-related assets.
Manages asset reconciliation and asset disposal agreements.
Assists in inventory management, procurement, and shipment activities.
Ensures audit compliance for the IT assets.
Guides divisions and schools in the daily administration of the technology-related asset management activities.
Supervises assigned staff to include planning, assigning, and scheduling work, reviewing work and ensuring quality standards, training staff and overseeing their productivity, and conducting employee performance evaluations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or closely related area from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university required.
Minimum three (3) experience monitoring, managing, and or supporting technology assets required.
