Responsibilities
Conducting research and analysis on “ripped from the headlines topics” at the intersection of innovation, business, government, and public opinion
Identify and contact key principals, stakeholders, influencers, and experts related to the above research
Develop reports or presentations of the above research as directed and participate in meetings to keep people apprised of progress and brainstorm research challenges and opportunities as they arise
[Potential] Publish blog posts with your byline based on your research (with permission)
[Potential] Speak at events about aspects of your research (with permission)

Required
Graduate-level education or real-world work background in topics at the intersection of innovation, business, government, and society (e.g., business, economics, public policy, politics, legislation, science & technology, innovation, sociology).
An interest in and general knowledge about digital technology and innovation and how our world and society are changing because of it.
An understanding of and ability to apply the scientific method, hypothesis testing, and 'first principles' thinking.
Experience working with qualitative or quantitative data as commonly used in social sciences and policy research (e.g., polling, interviews, modeling, literature searches).
Exceptional analytical, writing, and communications skills.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and hard-working.
Intellectual, curious, versatile, and agile.
