Responsibilities

Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases for performance and efficiency.
Creating Hasura API’s to be used as the DAL (Data Access Layer).
GIT Experience including GIT Actions/Automation
Creating data models and data objects for OLTP systems.
Implement and maintain cloud-based database solutions, primarily on AWS.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures and functions.
Ensure database security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate database technology within our infrastructure.
Provide technical support and guidance on database design and architecture.

Required

Minimum of 13 years of experience as a Database Engineer.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL
Proven experience with AWS cloud services related to database management.
In-depth understanding of SQL and database programming.
Experience with GIT automation.
Strong experience with creating data models and data objects for OLTP systems.
Experience using Hasura and creating API’s.
Experience with database design, tuning, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with data security, backup, and recovery methods.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred

Experience with other database technologies and NoSQL databases.
ETL Experience in AWS.
AWS Aurora highly preferred.
SQL Server is a nice to have.
AWS ETL tools are also a great to have but not required.
