Responsibilities

Develop & Execute Vision : Craft and execute a strategic roadmap for infrastructure scalability, performance, and security, ensuring alignment with organizational and cybersecurity objectives.

Cross-Functional Leadership : Collaborate closely with executive stakeholders to translate business needs into technology requirements, strengthening our overall security and compliance framework.

Physical Systems Design : Lead our infrastructure team in the design, deployment, and optimization of data centers, servers, storage, and network equipment to maximize uptime, scalability, and reliability.

Network Security & Performance : Architect secure, high-performing network solutions with integrated cybersecurity protocols to safeguard against emerging threats and maintain network optimization.

Security Software Integration : Oversee a robust suite of security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and software-defined networking (SDN), achieving cohesive, layered defenses across all infrastructure elements.

Compliance Framework Leadership : Lead maintenance of our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications while assisting in the deployment of other security standards across our IT landscape. Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance in line with industry best practices.

Compliance Management for Existing Client and Presales : Assist in formulating responses to client software and compliance inquiries, leading teams to exceed client expectations on timeliness and accuracy. Work with legal staff to help frame responses within the context of regulatory and legal frameworks.

Team Building, Leadership & Mentorship : Cultivate a high-performing team with a focus on continuous learning and professional growth in both technical and leadership capacities.

Succession Planning : Identify and develop future leaders within the infrastructure and security domains, ensuring continuity of expertise and readiness for expanded responsibilities.

Budget Optimization : Strategically manage a growing budget, focusing on maximizing ROI for hardware, software, and vendor partnerships while balancing cost and performance.

Vendor Relations : Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to secure high-quality, cost-effective solutions, with an eye toward long-term scalability, supportability and innovation.

Progressive Career Development : Engage in structured development toward the CISO role by managing both physical and software security infrastructures and building expertise in strategic security planning, risk assessment, and incident response.

Required

6+ years in IT infrastructure management, with 3-5 years in a senior architecture/cybersecurity role.

Prior experience in roles bridging physical and software security infrastructure.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Proven strategic planning, technical expertise in infrastructure, and proven success in managing compliance initiatives.

Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

Preferred

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are a plus.
