Responsibilities

Custom C# development, optimization, and deployment in customer IT environment

Create, modify, optimize stored procedures in SQL Server databases

Design and Develop SCADA and Historian applications

Commission the systems and troubleshoot any issues

Attend internal and customer design meetings

Use QA/QC tools and processes

Strong Networking and system admin capabilities

Required

BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

Knowledgeable in computer networking architectures, topologies, and hardware

Knowledgeable of one or more computer programming languages like C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java

Experienced in creating, modifying, and optimizing stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server

Experience designing, implementing, and commissioning SCADA applications. Preferably with Plant SCADA (Citect SCADA), System Platform, or Wonderware

Experience designing, implementing, and commissioning Historian applications. Preferably with Citect Historian or Wonderware Historian

Experience with Tableau or other dashboarding and reporting environments

Experience configuring and troubleshooting industry standard communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, and Modbus TCP/IP

Ability to design and implement Layer 2 communications, configure, and troubleshoot managed/ unmanaged switches.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft operating systems and software applications including Active Directory

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to collaborate and succeed within a diverse team

Team oriented, self-motivated, and results driven

Strong problem solving and detective skills

Work according to a specified project playbook and commissioning plan while being resourceful and versatile in finding sources of information to solve problems

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality solutions

Ability to multi-task, handle conflicting priorities, triage issues, and work with the core team when needed

Collaborate and succeed within a diverse team

Program version control

Willingness to travel to customer sites if needed. Most work is currently remotely but engineer may need to travel up to 25% in the future for customer meetings or deployments.
